lehna's mother. she was incredibly distant as lehna grew up, though she loved both of her children; she prioritized her duties as a matriarch of their keeper clan rather than spending time with her children, which was incredibly normal for their village. she is well-respected in her home village, unmarked on maps but located in the region of the black shroud.
raih'to jacaan
lehna's father. he was a gleaner in old sharlayan for many years. much like lehna, he had the echo. when he found out lehna had started having strange visions, he decided to take koh'a to sharlayan to study at the studium in the hopes that keeping koh'a away from himself and lehna would prevent him from suffering the effects of the echo, too.he assisted the circle of knowing during the seventh umbral calamity, using his echo to help as much as he could. though he was one of the original warriors of light, no one remembers what he did, and he would prefer to keep it that way.
koh'a jacaan
lehna's older twin brother. the two were incredibly close growing up, though when he was taken to study at the studium, he assumed it was because his father thought he could follow in his footsteps while lehna could not. he never spoke to his family after he graduated.he has a wife and a child, and they currently reside in labyrinthos. lehna stumbled across him by chance while waiting for the ragnarok to finish. they do not have a good relationship.

born to a lesser noble family in ishgard that fell on hard times when a political rival accused her father of heresy. he was found guilty and sentenced to the witch drop. her only friend after this was zephirin de valhourdin and the two of them were incredibly close until he joined the heavens' ward and swore his oath of celibacy. he was also tempered on that night, though helena did not know until after his death.she currently works for house fortemps as a personal assistant to artoirel. additionally, she writes incredibly explicit, blasphemous smut under a penname in the hopes that the holy see does not accuse her of heresy the way they did her father.
leon
in some verses, the warrior of light. his father was a miqo'te man (who happens to be lehna's uncle, making them cousins). leon grew up in a ravan village near dalmasca. he left the forest after his mother banished him, fearing that he would accidentally reveal the crimes she had committed.aforementioned crimes resulted in leon being an extremely powerful black mage with connections to the void. although his pool of aether is immense on its own, sometimes he must become a bit of an aether-vampire to restore his aether, especially after overuse.
achille
warrior of light, lancer. adventurer. does not remember much from his past, but has been told by many that he is destined to do great things. due to this he has grown rather conceited.eros is the only person in the world he would do anything for, aside from himself.shard of nike.
eros
a viera from the forest. he was defending his village's territory when achille stumbled in. eros lost the battle and became injured, and was then surprised when achille helped him rather than killing him.due to his loss to achille, he abandoned the forest in shame--though achille took interest in him immediately, and achille invited eros to join him. the name eros was given to him by achille.note: while he is not a shard of nike, he is close with achille and they are from the same shard.

rowan beckford
warrior of light. grew up in vanaspati under the watchful eye of his sickly father. he was training to become an alchemist when his father got incredibly sick. in an attempt to save him, rowan made a tincture that was supposed to help, but instead poisoned his father and killed him.he left thavnair behind in shame, dropping alchemy altogether and refusing to try again after such a foolish mistake. he joined up with althea in limsa lominsa, and eventually he became the warrior of light.
althea kagon
ascian. raised on the azim steppe as an orphan in the kagon tribe, she eventually befriended jetei oronir. the two of them stuck together through everything. eventually, she witnessed a star shower in her sleep. she wanted answers, so she and jetei left the azim steppe. not long after leaving, she met lahabrea and willingly joined up with the ascians.she gathered a group of adventurers--and jetei--and infiltrated the scions, eventually betraying all of them.
jetei oronir
raised as a member of the oronir tribe. his mother was a kagon and fled the oronir lands when his oronir father died during nadaam, leaving him to be raised by the oronir as an orphan. he was bullied for being small while growing up, though he eventually grew to become one of the largest xaela at the steppe.he became a reaper at althea's insistence, though he does not know why she pushed him to do this.
quientien oirellain
archon from sharlayan. his focus is on aether and tempering. he came to eorzea with his friend moenbryda and immediately felt drawn to rowan; the two of them were almost immediately inseparable, both of them more than willing to follow althea's lead. quientien has the echo.during the bloody banquet, he allowed himself to get captured so jetei and rowan could get away. when they saved him from halatali, he was a changed man.
naolih tayuun
naolih appeared after the calamity... somehow she already seemed to have connections to the scions, though none of them can remember why and she won't tell them. she is very secretive about her past, but also possesses the echo.despite being present during the praetorium, naolih refused to allow anyone to give her the title of "warrior of light" alongside rowan. she is blunt and playful with a good heart, always willing to help people--or drink them under the table.
